At the end of the video it showed the police bringing her down the outside stairs of the gangway. They should have brought her out through the terminal so the inconvenienced passengers could ridicule and jeer at her.

I pray that if im ever in a situation like that where im on a plane, being punished for someone elses foolishness that i am able to control my self because id be boiling over if shes making me late or having to deboard.
My exact thoughts. I'd probably get arrested also.

Their attorney is the next guy on a billboard. They dont have any

I can't tell exactly what this is....
A) were they refusing initially, jokingly or not, and then agreed at which time the flight attendant wanted to just keep the drama going out of "revenge"?
B) Did the only agree after attendant made her "ruling", i.e. until they realized there were indeed consequences did the passengers relent?
C) Did they agree but the attendant decided they weren't sufficiently attentive and didn't really heed the directions?
D) possible they simply made a boeing joke and it was taken personally.

The attitude is remarkable. Once the pilot doesn’t want the passenger on there it’s done.

You got anger issues if this would get you arrested.

I don’t think she was removed because of a joke, she was removed because of how she treated the flight attendants after she made her joke.
Probably. The “Betty White” comment she made makes believe there was probably some back and forth that we didn’t see. I know the lady who made the video tried to add some context about what happened beforehand too.

I wasn’t referring to the flight attendant.

I get that, but can someone explain why they de-boarded the entire plane and not just this a-hole lady causing trouble? Seems shortsighted to inconvenience everyone onboard when they could just remove this lady and be on their way.
Because it is a lot easier and safer for airline employees/police to take the trouble maker off with the entire plane versus them getting physical in close quarters with innocent people. And also so 150 people with camera phones don’t film you removing an unhinged person and having your company tagged in all that nonsense.
My company’s policy is everyone gets off, police/airport staff take the trouble maker, and everyone else gets right back on. The only other delay is getting their luggage off of they had bags.

Don’t be a fricking loudmouth on a plane and bitch at the crew unless if it’s a life or death situation.
Stupid, entitled a-hole acting out, imho…

Apparently she was enjoying the extra legroom that the exit row provides, but didn't accept the duties asked to perform in an exit row in the event of an emergency. When asked yes or no, she was saying all kinds of other bullshite intending to be funny. Then when told that she'd have to switch seats with someone who could just give a verbal "yes", she tried to backtrack. But by then it was too late.
All I know is that if you have a connection after this flight, you're fricked and spending a shitty night in an airport bar and then getting 5 hours of gritty, garbage sleep.

cant blame her for being honest.

E) Your ticket buys you access to the plane and a seat (maybe). Once you are on the plane, you are 100% under the authority of the flight crew. Your rights are almost completely waived until you exit the airplane door.

I was at a high school graduation Sunday night and a very similar looking group of attendees ruined the special night for everyone around them. I’m not sure what originally set it off but it involved a black family, a Hispanic family, and an Asian couple. A nearby little girl below them was being shielded by her father as she cried. Security had to get involved and were directed at the black family. It was obvious that they were the ones that were unruly. The refused to change seats and we’re about to be physically removed but the Hispanic and Asian were very uncomfortable about the escalating situation and began saying that the would allow them to stay as long as they kept there hands to themselves. After assurances from all parties, the black group stayed where they were and a security guard stood in the aisle next to them for the rest of the ceremony.
Everyone around the situation (including the Hispanic and Asian) just kept looking at each other as if we all thought the same thing.
