Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports
Former LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson has received a recording-setting contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings on a four-year, $140 million contract extension that includes $110 million guaranteed.

According to ESPN Adam Schefter, the deal will make him not only the highest-paid WR in NFL history but also the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.

How was JJ a 2 star recruits from high school? Either all the recruiting services simultaneously dropped the ball heavily or he was just a really late bloomer.

It just further proves that star rating doesn't mean much. It's all about individual drive and program development.

On the contrary, it means a lot. It's not the end all be all obviously, and JJ is an outlier.

There were eligibility concerns dragging him down - he still would have been underrated without them (probably high 3 MAYBE low 4 star) but it is what it is
