1. She is cheating on you and drawing out cash to put in her own secret account before you find out
2. she has a major drug issue
The mental health crises is a front and her accusations on you are to put you on the defensive. I mean she is staying at a hotel the answer is right there. It's a midlife crises and she intends to leave you and is seeing someone else but is first seeing how much she can steal from you first. Get a private investigator to watch her at the hotels. It's your money, lock her out. Pay all bills and keep your home open to her but you have no legal obligation to pay for whatever she is doing outside your home

She's doing drugs. Sprinkle some fentanyl on her stuff and get rid of her for good.

Fair point- in February, she got arrested for DV- since that date, it’s gotten stupid worse, no violence but we have been arguing a ton/ mainly bc she does out of ordinary behaviors for her and i call her out and she gets pissed. My therapist says I’m trying up make her actions logical but i can’t because it’s not- he says to try to ignore until she gets help but she refuses
Her violent and paranoid behavior and cash withdrawals point to hard drug use. The amounts you posted are conveniently what a 8ball of coke costs (200 dollars).

I know we joke a lot about Jody here, but those are classic cheating signs as well. This is the age that women start to realize their looks are slowly fading. I'm sorry you're in this situation.

Sorry you are having to go through all this. Marital problems are never fun and just eat at you. It does sound like she needs help, and lots of it.
That said, you need to protect yourself and your kids first. Monday morning should be a busy day for you, talking to a lawyer, canceling cards, moving accounts, maybe hiring a PI. Good luck to you -- and I hope she gets better too.

Hire a private detective. If it turns out that she's up to no good, keep the evidence in your back pocket for when it's needed.

Has she gotten a Queen of Spades tattoo recently?
You could also capitalize on this and just start an OF page with her.

It sounds like Jody and/or drugs. You could hire a PI, or consider an Air Tag as a cost effective option.

Any history of drug use?
Posted on 5/19/24 at 5:39 pm to 850SaintsGator
I used to do chemical dependency intake in ER's..there is almost assuredly drugs involved here....the hotel room is to do them without getting inturrupted...the money for the fixes...
You need to cut her off of all money...move it all out of the joint account....when she starts detoxing she will be all over you or family for money..Require a drug screen for any more funds..

This makes sense.

Does she have a gambling problem? Is her hotel attached to a casino? Can you cancel her credit cards (and check how much she owes on them and to whom.)

Based on the info you provided, idk why you're thinking Baker Act. Moving money around sounds like drugs or cheating way more than a mental health crisis. Those things make her a shitty person, but not mentally ill.

I’m thinking drugs, not Jody.
Those aren’t mutually exclusive, though.

was thinking gambling addiction
My uncle recently divorced after discovering my aunt had gambled away like 30k over a couple years. She just nickel and dimed the money at first where it wasn’t very noticeable but as the addiction grew worse the amounts got bigger and he noticed
