Their viewers hate Trump AND want Biden replaced. The Dems want another candidate.
They (CNN) also want another candidate. They won’t outright say it. But they want someone they can swoon over like Obama. They want those days back.
They aren’t shifting right.. they are just clamoring for another candidate. They are planning out strategy for a Biden win. Trump wouldn’t run again and the trials will end and they will be forced to cover Biden somehow. They can’t just sit and bash individual members of congress everyday and ignore the entire administration.

I don’t think it is a “turn right” as much as everyone acknowledging that Biden is fricked.

Even if management wanted to do it, the rank and file are too crazy to execute it. Remember the Trump town hall that had a friendly crowd? yeh, CNN management had to apologize to its batshit employees for that.
