I've always just let them know I believe in jury nullification. Haven't sat one yet in the 4 times I've been called.

My boss and mentor many years ago said " tell him that you are a drunkard and and gambler." Works every time.

I got as far as being called into the jury box with 11 other people to get questioned. Ended up not getting picked because 1. I was a patient of the Dr. Office that was getting sued and 2. All of my family works in the medical field.
The person who got let go the quickest said she knew on of the people involved in the lawsuit.

I sure would hate to be judged by 12 people not smart enough to get out of jury duty.

Just go and do it. I sat on a jury for a murder trial two years ago.
It was honestly a great experience. All the jurors were dead serious about getting it right and took the task very seriously.
I'd want the same if I was on trial. Also, the dude got convicted as he was guilty as hell.

If you’re a white male, chances are you won’t be on a jury. Also, just keep your head low and don’t ask question or raise your hand.

If it's personal injury case. State you have issues about the attorney getting such a high percentage of a win. They will probably ask you if you can see past those issues..just shrug with an "I don't know" look. You'll be home an hour later.

No one likes jury duty except maybe loners who are retired or don't work. Having said that, consider how you would feel if you were either a plaintiff or defendant in a jury trial.

Had a dude one time reply to "can you maintain non bias during a trial" with "No! He looks guilty!". He was promptly cut. This was for a murder trial for an ms-13 Mexican and the juror had a work shirt on with his company and name on it. Bold move sir.

Answer all questions in a chicken clucking voice... It shocks people and they will leave you alone.

When asked a question by the attorney reply "Im sure at some point in his life the defendant did something to deserve the death penalty".
And you will be released with a quickness.
