Bill Maher is definitely not the worst guy around these days. One of the more intelligent Democrats with a platform these days. Takes guts to disagree with the crowd and he has done so quite a bit in the last decade or so.

To his credit I don't think he really moved. The left and right have just moved more left and right. I've disagreed with Maher more often than not but the motherfricker is consistent, I gotta give him that.

I think a big part of this is the far Left has gone even farther Left and Maher has stayed the same.
It’s like James Carville’s rant a few weeks ago about not even wanting to interact with young Leftist females because they’ve gone so far beyond what he thinks a Progressive should be.
Same could be said of the Right, I suppose, but we’re talking about Maher here.
