Y’all are off base with this one. Maher isn’t closer to center or a classical liberal.

That was good. He definitely has gotten to the point where he may agree with it some but let's be realistic. Lefties tend to run with stuff way to far and don't want rules. Giving the Right some credit was good.
His recent "let's be honest and call it what it is... abortion is baby killing" stance is good too. We can at least work with people like this. Unfortunately they are not many.

He's an old school, true liberal with a lot in common with an old school, true conservative. Both abhor aggressive government. I have a friend how is an old school conservative and he is always getting after the cops who abuse and overreach their authority. He does not like the militarization of the police. Old school hippie liberals are the "do your own thing" types.

15 years ago i considered myself a liberal and voted Democrat (yes, let the hate rain down!) The Dems/liberals changed, not me. That’s how i see Bill Maher. A liberal, but more like an 80s/90s liberal, which by today’s standards might as well be a Nazi.
