Been at events with four sitting/former presidents (Carter & Reagan at the dedication of the Carter Center; H.W. Bush at an event celebrating Atlanta getting the '96 Olympics; G.W. Bush at a campaign stop in Auburn).

Visited 35 states before ever flying on an airplane.

Got an autograph from an active NFL head coach at a NASCAR race (Jerry Glanville in Richard Petty's pit prior to the 1992 spring Atlanta race).

Had 2 phone calls with Justice Anthony Scalia one month after the Bush/Gore "hanging chad" election hearing. Oh, 1 from his cell phone & the other on his home phone. His wife answered "hey Tony its for you".

At the age of 19, with $800 in my pocket, loaded two suitcases, said "peace out" and moved 9,000 miles away.

I have hunted ducks in Poland, The Czech Republic, France, Italy, Germany and The Netherlands. Again, lots of people in each have done so but not many from outside...especially Germany. Until recently Germany did not allow non-residents to hunt ANYTHING.

How is duck hunting in other countries? Anything like or different than here in the South, or in the States for that matter?

Interesting one.

I've been to both ends of the Pan-American Highway. Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and Yaviza, Panama. Some consider it to continue in South America after a gap for the Darian (I don't, really). But in that case the southern end is Ushuaia, Argentina, and I've been there too.

All 7 continents.

Yeah, and Bregman was a world class SS in the making at that time and has gone on to play in the Bigs. I only played through HS. I think my feat is way more impressive.

Gainfully employed for 43 years straight.
Did get fired once, new job the next day.

Swung from a platform to a boat in 12 foot seas. That shite is crazy.

That's pretty cool,

I saved a toddler from drowning when I was a teenager.. Still see him from time to time and he thanks me for it each time I see him

A year (ish) ago, within a week of the time Ryan Mallet drowned in Florida I helped save two dudes in that same area from drowning. The lifeguard was the real hero since he spotted them but I did swim out into the current and brought a guy in and went back out and got a kid. Reading the news reports after I don't think the first guy I brought in survived but the teenager did. Kind of proud of that actually.

I had a reserve parachute ride during my 50th skydive.

I've had three motorcycle accidents.

I got hit by a train.

I've swam with sharks.

I’ve had my hand on the steering wheels of vehicles traveling underwater, overwater, on land, and in the air

I’ve also held a federal document labeled as “Top Secret SCI”
