These are exactly the kinds of homes that were snatched up for renovation in places like Brooklyn. Developers made millions. But no one will touch these, because unlike Giuliani-era NYC, this place is still something straight out of an apocalypse film of the 70’s.

Took my gf to an Orioles game a long time ago and for some reason we decided to walk back to our hotel. I’m nearly 100% sure we walked through that entire hood in the OP.
At one point we almost called for police to come get us. I was sure we’d be robbed at the very least. Probably the dumbest decision I’ve ever made.
