I saw a piece about visiting Marquette, Mich. in the upper peninsula. It's just over 20K people. One guy said 'We don't lock our homes or cars. There is no crime here.'
They didn't mention race so I looked it up. It's almost all white.

I had someone tell me once that I can walk my dogs and baby up and down my streets due to white privilege and because my neighbors are all white.
I promptly explained to him that he just admitted that he thinks white people are safer than black people and that black people commit more crime. I don’t think he thought it through.

Notice how you don’t see “Hispanic” in there as a choice? They are lumped in with “White”…hence being the reason why that category is so high. Take Hispanics out and give them their own category and you would see “White” drop significantly
