I know it’s still early but to keep losing like this is very concerning. Maybe he will be like Maneri where he wins a title early then never wins one again. But I hope I’m wrong.

Jay Johnson deserves heat right now for how bad this team is but he is still a good coach. Big changes need to be made though.

DVH is a great baseball coach and has 0 natties. Let’s not act like a championship is a simple process.

Jay is a very technical coach who recruits his arse off. PM was neither of those things.

I don't know, let's think about that logically.

Oh sorry man, I didn't mean to ask you to do something you obviously can't.

The mental fragility of some of you astounds me.

I think he's a really good offensive coach, but I absolutely think post championship he liked the smell of his own farts a little too much when it came to offensive development. It's not for a lack of caring about LSU or work ethic.

It's a lot to ask to develop half a roster of hitters in one offseason. Kling, Neal, etc are miles away from being legit SEC starters at the plate.

He had 3rd year starters(floyd, crews, morgan,Thompson, edwards, etc)and 2 players who benefited from covid(Beloso/Dugas) and got a unicorn pitcher.

Yes they were mostly pm's guys, could pm have pulled it off? No. Could Jay, yep.

New starting line up except for White. Jay's work is cut out for him. It will only get harder next year. Hopefully this team sticks together into next year.

I don't think I can take much more of this place.

You realize Jay had been to Omaha twice before within like 5 years at Arizona right? He nearly won it all there too.

No we had an amazingly talented team and the players who were not top end talent were 4th and 5th year guys.

Last year Jay Johnson inherited a tremendous upper class of Louisiana kids and Crews. Skenes a generational pitcher and we outbid Miss State with Lipsey money for his services for 1 year.

But Neal and Kling are unreal because perfect game says so.

Maybe recruiting Louisiana kids ain’t so bad after all. Regardless of what perfect game says.

Losing like what? We lost 3 games by a combined 6 runs to the #1 team on the road.

You are wrong because you are a fricking retard that hasn’t paid any attention to the things Jay does.

Pitching...

Good pitching beats good hitting every time.

They're scoring runs. They just can't hold their opponents.

They win a fricking natty last season and his NOT Manieri

Wake Forest was number 1 early in the season and the favorite to win the CWS this year. They are 17-8 overall and 4-6 in ACC play (which is nowhere as hard as SEC), could be 4-7 after today.

lot of season left
