I like a lot of the live stuff from Devin Townsend Project. I have The Retinal Circus and the By A Thread Live boxset. The Royal Albert Hall show has some gems.
Probably not to the taste of most of the people here, but I listen to The Weeknd Live at SoFi Stadium a lot.
Plus I have a handful of bootlegs from concerts I attended.

Cheap Trick--@ Budokan
Man, I was listening to that yesterday and it just sounded poorly recorded. Cheap Trick are great and that record is full of great songs, but the album doesn’t sound good.

A Perfect Circle’s “Stone and Echo: Live at Red Rocks” album is freaking amazing and definitely one of my favorites.

Neil Diamond Hot August Night may have the greatest opening song but the entire thing is awesome

depends on the band, but yes generally, I like them better.

"If you find yourself in the Rocky Mountains when the wind comes up and the sun goes down, you can find yourself in a whole lot of trouble people. . ."
You don't get that in the studio. Or just how well Gary can talk with his geetar.

Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive!
It is wild that he seemingly came out of nowhere, released a live album, took the world by storm and then evaporated.

Majority of my listening is live music, but only a small percentage are actual albums.

Sometimes, but I will say my favorite albums when I was younger were these unplugged songs recorded by bands visiting Birmingham. They were called Live at the X Lounge and the proceeds went to charity.
One person uploaded most if not all of the songs to YouTube here

About 70% of my music listening is to live music or live recordings. Not necessarily official live albums but recordings of performances

Nope, as usually the audio is not as great.
HOWEVER, as I write this there are many live records I can't live without, including:
- The two Johnny Cash prison records
- KISS Alive
- Ted Nugent - Double live Gonzo
- Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East
- AC/DC - If You Want Blood You Got It
...and I could go on...

I forgot about this album. Great album to crank up full blast on long drives with the windows down.
