Looks like he may have predicted this.

When Jennifer needed help one day, Barnett came by to see her. They talked about his upcoming deposition in Charleston. Jennifer knew Barnett filed an extremely damaging complaint against Boeing. He said the aerospace giant retaliated against him when he blew the whistle on unsafe practices.
For more than 30 years, he was a quality manager. He'd recently retired and moved back to Louisiana to look after his mom.
"He wasn't concerned about safety because I asked him," Jennifer said. "I said, 'Aren't you scared?' And he said, 'No, I ain't scared, but if anything happens to me, it's not suicide.'"
Jennifer added: "I know that he did not commit suicide. There's no way. He loved life too much. He loved his family too much. He loved his brothers too much to put them through what they're going through right now."
Jennifer said she thinks somebody "didn't like what he had to say" and wanted to "shut him up" without it coming back to anyone.

Really weird and fishy case.

I don’t think he off’d himself

People get killed for changing lanes without signaling. The idea that people wouldn’t off someone for billions of dollars in lost net worth is ridiculous.

I wish that would’ve been in writing and not hearsay. Sick of this type of shite happening.

How many times did he allegedly shoot himself in the head?

I didn't even realize this happened just across the river from me. If the wind was blowing the right direction I likely would've heard the gunshot (assuming, of course, that the trigger was pulled in that parking lot).

he got the Karen Silkwood treatment.
not far from where I live, you can still drive by the old Kerr Mcgee facility in Crescent, OK. It still has radiation sensors lining the fields around the abandoned building. kind of creepy.

Boeing has a history of being cheap as frick and trying to cover it up. It’s one thing when you’re just making appliances and shite but it’s a whole different story when you’re making vehicles that transport people 30,000 feet in the sky. John Oliver did a pretty good story on this the other day

I am not suggesting it was not suicide but if he actually told someone that and he wasn't joking I would have expected him to have a deadman switch.
Even in clear cases of suicide (ie a phone call right before to a loved one) people often say how they would have never expected it. People tend to keep things like that to themselves and in retrospect the ones left behind don't want to see any signs because it could/would make them feel responsible. I have seen witnesses' entire lives fall apart in cases that didn't have near the stakes and unlike this case weren't going to play out in the international media.

I don’t know which is less likely. Epstein or this dude.
I don’t think either one killed themselves.

Sounds like that Clinton staffer that committed suicide by wrapping an extension cord around his neck then shooting himself in the chest with a shotgun and then threw the shotgun 30ft from his body....
Or like the Clinton chef that died in some remote mountains of New Mexico.
Or like Obama's chef that drowned behind Obama's house with a mysterious witness, a report that stated Obama was out of town when he was actually in town at the time.
Or like McConnell's sis-in-law that accidentally put her Tesla in reverse down a 2ft embankment, flipped her car and drowned all while the reports say emergency personnel couldn't get to her in a wide the frick open ranch.
Folks, we have some VERY nefarious people in positions of power in this country. Gotta keep your head on a swivel around these people.

I think we always have, it’s just become more prevalent and easier to see.
