I sold something on the internet a long time ago for $20. Think it was around 2017? Guy offered to pay me in Bitcoin. Sure why the hell not. That $20 was worth $289 last night. Going to let it ride until I die or tops $1k.

So he was off on timing, but so very right on predicting the coin to be quite valuable. I remember when he was pushing us all to buy it and me not trusting bit coin. It was quite affordable when he told us to buy.

I bought at 3k in 2017. Sold at around 6k after it crashed from 20k fully intending to get back in. I once had 1.8 BTC.
It took off before I could.
I no longer like to talk about BTC
My problem was I couldn’t stop trading. If I shut up stuck it on my ledger and got amnesia I’d be much better off.
My advice. Buy BTC never check the price again and HODL. It’s going to the moon.

One of my regrets is not listening to him. There was once, when he first spoke of this I thought about investing, but then read all the computer crap you had to do to do it back then and said, naw. Of course, in hindsight I could have gotten a young neighbor kid to do that, but didn't.

these threads make me sick. ive been on this message board every day for 18 years and i missed the only good thing that's ever come of it.
