Actually, my favorite Apple product at present is the iPads that have cell connection so you always have internet. It's annoying Android tablets don't have that.

apple was one-trick away from irrelevance when they struck it big with the iPhone.
sure the iPod was a pretty big hit as well, but everyone forgets there were a frickton of MP3 players before the iPod. the problem was..they fricking sucked. apple just took their lock-in mentality and paid off the beatles so they could use the apple trademark in the music industry and created iTunes.
the combo was killer.
the iphone was a glorified iPod with a cellphone feature. again, the market was dominated by blackberry (the first hint people could get addicted to their phones) and shitty android and microsoft phones.
i still remember owning both an SDA and MDA and when it crashed (happened frequently), it took at least 2 minutes to reboot. imagine windows 98 on a phone.
nokia was resting on their laurels and releasing boutique phone form factors like that crazy-arse 3650 and focusing on premium ringtones and COMPLETELY MISSED THE BOAT. they served their purpose but got incredibly complacent and missed out on building a crazy/good OS with that massive capital they had to be competitive with apple.
instead they were doing this:
so if you want to worship steve jobs, worship his ability to rip off the Xerox Alto, Creative Labs MP3 players, and rough-start android and microsoft phones and making them work. he is a master at steealing someone else's idea and making it commercially viable.

i have Brave on my phone, personal PC and work PC and never think twice about my browser.

i have to test everything in edge, chrome and safari and then of course again on the stupid ipad and android & apple phones.
you ever tried to turn browser console debugging on for an iPad??

My opinion of Apple has nothing to do with the government.
The government didn't tell me about Apple's overprices RAM or SSD storage. Or their closed software/system. Or their ever changing cable connectors. Or the practically unwatchable videos my mom tries to send me from her iphone.

Yeah I'm not going to entertain someone who spends 20hrs a day on an internet message board.
Anyway, came to add that I wanted to make a cross platform app recently and learned in order to develop an ipad app, you must build it on an Apple product.
Even microsoft lets you develop .net apps on other platforms.
