Can't say I've ever seen a restaurant space become a funeral home.

But considering how taking a left turn out of there is a near-death experience maybe this will work.

Considering the number of restaurants which have died off in that building, it is appropriate.

Wasn’t La Carreta in BR a funeral home?

From what I know from someone in the business, it’s actually easy to put a restaurant in a funeral home given the gas lines are already there for cremation.

Guess it goes the other way as well…

Well the funeral home on St. Charles in New Orleans became a Fresh Market.

That restaurant saved me money because I had my kid and they didn't have a high chair so I had to go home and eat.

Wasn't there a funeral home on I-10 in New Orleans East that was a Long John Silver's?

How long was RPT open? Doesn’t feel like it was long.

There’s another place where restaurants keep opening and subsequently closing not too far down Perkins as well.

Their cocktails were surprisingly good and cheap. The tacos were arse, especially the presentation. And it was really dark in there when I went.

Paper rock taco sucked. Both of their locations closed. They were huge on mango salsa. Need to make your food craveable. This isn’t it.

Rock Paper Taco sounds like a restaurant name that I'd come up with.

Better restaurant to funeral than the other way around.

I believe New Orleans Funeral and Cremation may have been a restaurant years ago. It is in New Orleans East. There may have been something else in the location between the time it was a restaurant and funeral home.
