Look at the comics someone dropped off at Goodwill...

It's enough to make you nauseous. Some poor old bastard kept these his whole life and likely coveted them. One day he keels over, and extended family clean the junk out of his house to get it ready to sell. smh

Sweet pics.
ETA: Antiquetiger is probably slapping himself for missing out on this haul.

Those comics should not be at Goodwill.

Is that the super limited edition Lois Lane comic where she has too much wine and scissors her roommate? Highly valuable, if so.

I looked into comic book grading because my father in law has a collection that would drive you crazy. Those are just loose sleeves and I can see wear and tear on most of those. I'm not sure how much they're worth each, but the difference in the high end grade and low end is 1000s if not 10s of thousands of dollars.

My grandmother specifically told my father “this stuff that looks like cheap junk? Don’t just throw it away or donate it when I die.”
It was some kind of crystal figures which looked like cheap crap if you didn’t know much about the material it was made of.
Lotta that going on when people die, which is how Antique Tiger makes a living.

I'd rather the $3k+ they are goign to fetch as opposed to keeping some old books no one will ever care about in my house.
They are already at $2,600 with 14 bids on them, and there's 3 days left.

I don't know which comics have value. Do any of these have potential?

They dumped these at Goodwill for $0. They will make $0 off of someone's prized possessions.

That's the kicker- whoever donated them probably took a write off of $50-100, or maybe even less. Goodwill makes the bank on this. All the person had to do was google them and find a comic store in driving distance- probably worked their way out of $10,000 or more I'd guess.

The valuable ones will have 10c, 12c, 15c, 20c, or 25c on the cover. Most comics that say 30c or higher on the cover are of later vintage and have limited value ...
The more you know. Just learned that in a 2 minute dive, could be a gold mine, looks as if ALL of those meet the criteria.

They should’ve gone to Vegas to if nothing else get that stuff appraised.

Just goes to show you that no one gives a shite once you die. Anything you collect is just stuff in someone else's eyes.

At first glance I thought she was standing on a laundry machine...

I legit expected them to be porn comics. As someone who had his mom give all of his baseball cards away when I went to college, this took an unexpected and unfortunate turn.
