that whole BMI scale needs to be re-written.

I was at 25.1 about 2 months ago on my last Doctor's visit.
and I am NOT a big person at all.

This x 100. I'm a pretty big guy at 6'3" 262 lbs. I work out 3-4 days a week lifting and train BJJ another 2-3. My waist is right around 32" but according to BMI, i'm obese.

To fall in the "normal" range for BMI, i'd have to weigh 175 lbs. I would look like a cancer patient at 175.

No 200lbs would put you right at the top of the normal range

Anybody who posts this is required to post a picture as proof. Unless you are a peak specimen elite athlete, you are not in shape at 6'3 262lbs. Not that BMI is entirely accurate as an indicator of health, but you are not "healthy" at that weight.

No you wouldn’t. Right now you are 10 lbs lighter than Tyson Fury but 6 inches shorter.

You are carrying a lot of fat around with your muscle and it isn’t good for your health.

This is an obvious troll but I want to make sure everyone in this thray understands BMI is an accurate measurement and predictor of risk factors for about 95% of the American population. Of course there are outliers. A 6'3", 262 lb who is in tremendous physical shape (working out seven days per week) with a 32" waist is an outlier. That's the size of most professional linebackers.

BMI gets thrown way off for above average tall people especially if you have muscle mass. A big advantage of being tall is you can also gain 20lbs of fat and can’t tell a difference appearance wise.
