Hell yeah. M-16s, grenades, I got a camo belt fed 30 Cal that made noise. None of that orange tip stuff in the early 80s.

0-5 years old?
Internet was around but people weren’t glued to it. In school we still went to books as references first. AIM messenger didn't come out till I was 10 and so by the time I was about to enter HS was popular. I grew up roaming the neighborhood without a cellphone at all and by the time I graduated hs smart phones were common. wild when you think about it

If I wasn’t at the Fair, I was playing Galaga or Centipede video games at Blimpie’s on So. Carrollton Ave. across from my school.
Would take the streetcar down to the Bend.

I was probably riding my bike around the neighborhood with my friends trying to get up a good game of smear the queer or lawn darts or something.

My sophomore and junior year of college. First presidential election I could vote in when I pulled the lever for Ronaldus Magnus.

Thinking back, I think my dad was a little disappointed if the can wasn’t just a touch light by the time he got it.

i miss wiffleball. we set up a wheelbarrow for a strike zone. Our football games were brutal. Good times.

I was a Jr. in High School. Going to mall with fiends, and watching movies on weekends. Working part time at a toy store. Fun times.

I was in my final year of BMX racing - moved on to a Yamaha 125 enduro and never rode my BMX bike again. Mowed yards for cash. I snuck out of the house almost every night that summer, riding to another neighborhood to hang out with like-minded friends and just do stupid shite.

That wheelbarrow idea is genius! We had a section of fence that was the strike zone. It was unmarked so more than one argument arose over where the ball hit on the fence.

Same I was 8. Saturday mornings were either waking up to cartoons or going fishing in my dad’s boat. I was 6 or 7 when I got an atari. Then later got a calicovision and then Nintendo. That 84’ summer I spent many days at the world’s fair.

No shite..not to de-rail but we are talking the 80's and this was my pride and joy of the arsenal. Imagine a suburban kid running around the neighborhood today with one of these....
