All the fast food burger joints in my town are total garbage.
Someone should invent a new burger FF drive thru but with Chick-Fil-A attention to detail/hiring/etc.
I'd pay 20% more if you could keep the quality up. Surprised nobody has tried it yet.

Could this be applied to crawfish season?

I'm not going if the price fluctuates and there's no telling what my burger will cost from visit to visit.

So… you already have some of the highest fast food prices to begin with and you do this?
Good luck.
Definitely not eating there at peak time.

Wendy's Spicy Chicken used to be my fast food crack. They started going downhill
Man I hadn't had Wendy's in years and got a spicy chicken the other day. It used to be great, now it was super thin and not nearly what it used to be. The store itself was like Popeye's level service and cleanliness but with shitty food.
Unless they exhume Dave Thomas and shock him back to life, I don't see how Wendy's makes it.

how the frick often are you eating fast food to notice something cost 50 cents more? i wouldnt even notice prolly
Agreed, if you would notice a $.50 difference, then maybe you should take a break from eating fast food

This would make sense in a low competition industry. But with this, people aren’t going to choose to eat lunch or breakfast at different times. They’re just going to go somewhere else.
I heard this on the radio this morning. But it was presented in a totally different way. To label "dynamic" pricing as "surge" pricing is immediately going to illicit a reaction that they are price gouging at high traffic times. The statement I heard this morning was a little more tame, and made me initially think it's more that you will get a discount on off times to draw in business. I'm sure the truth is somewhere in between, it's just all about how you frame the discussion. Plenty of restaurants have non-peak hour deals (happy hour, lunch specials, etc.) and then charge more for dinner.

I mean, I'm not saying they're the Second Coming of FF burger joints, but What-a-Burger appears to at least aspire to being the CFA of burgers.
Certainly clean, quiet, friendly/polite staff, etc., on a relatively consistent basis, in my humble experience.

I prefer my diarrhea flat fee and around 2:30pm EST.

Looks like I won’t be eating Wendy’s

If fast food price increases haven’t already caused you to change your eating habits, you are beyond help and this won’t impact you or general demand from the fatties.
I dunno, McDonald's has some incredibly good daily deals on their app and Domino's and Taco Bell are still pretty cheap with some of their deals on their respective apps also.

That sounds like a terrible idea

That pizza is fricking delicious. I highly recommend you try it

One Wendy's that sits right next to a CFA will not have any issues. They are slow all the time and surge pricing will not have any effect on them.

Have you been to the one on Siegen Lane in Baton Rouge? Because I don't think they got your memo. In my experience, nobody who works in this location gives one single frick about anything.
It would be easy to just blame the demographic, but the CFA just a mere few buildings down doesn't seem to have any issues with employees/quality/cleanliness/quickness.

So I would have to pay more while also doubling my wait time on the food. Lol good luck Wendy’s

Surprised ? Lol.. theyve already done it, it’s called In n Out Burger.. they do one thing, they do it extremely well, their customer service makes even Chick Fil A employees seem like entitled slackers, and the joints are so clean you could eat off the floor… and the cups have Bible verses on them, if that’s ur thing … and you dont have to “pay 20% more”, their prices are below Chick Fil A and significantly lower than the vastly overrated Whataburger ……. In n Out is rapidly expanding eastward as I type this .

Same. I didn’t even know people still went to Wendy’s, and wonder how the one by me stays open.
