Yep, you know he's thinking "I'm screwed with her and the rest of her remaining staff if this goes in the wrong direction".

As I said, I missed the entire show. But what I saw was the judge scolding the lawyers who were trying to ask a question. This happened several times.
It seems like she is getting university roasted though but we shall see.

Judge needs to grow a set and have control over his court

2020. Fani Willis is asked why the people of Fulton County should support her for District Attorney.
"Because they deserve a DA that won't have sex with his employees, because they deserve a DA that won't put money in their own pocket."

I'm sorry. I have not dated trashy women like yourself that has the zipper going halfway down the dress in the front.
The beautiful women I have dated and the woman I am now married to, wear their dresses appropriately and with class

You’re upset. You date women like Fanni don’t you?

I didn't get this impression. Yes, he let her talk and obfucsate a bit but she is the elected DA she is going to get some preferential treatment. Should she? No, but it's a fact of life. She also calmed down after he threatened her with striking her testimony so he did what he needed to do.
You could also look at it as letting her say what she wanted to head off a potential appeal.

He let her give insanely long answers that didn’t have anything to do with the question and she was hostile as hell, calling the lawyers liars, etc. It was really inappropriate

I wish blue dress could think on her feet because when Willis clapped back and said “I’m not the one on trial here”, I would have said “actually, you are, that’s why you’re sitting right there and having to explain why you inappropriately acted as an agent of the state and likely violated numerous laws”
Fani would have lost her shite
Fani would have lost her shite

Someone clarify for me because the way I saw it the bumbling lawyers knew they wanted to nail her to the wall but we’re just inept as hell.
The examination of a witness in a trial is an extremely difficult proposition and is nothing like you ever witness on television or even in general hearings
There are limitations on what can be asked, the manner in which it is asked and specific limitations on how you would impeach the credibility of a witness.
Unless there is absolute prior testimony that contradicts her current testimony for a piece of documentary evidence that specifically robots what was said There are limitations on how to impeach
However, laying the groundwork for argument I think it was done properly in this case.

I missed that. I saw him chastise her a couple of times on her attitude (basically "you're going to STFU and answer the question asked").
People on here think that judges and court are more confrontational than they are and expected the judge to throw her in jail or something.

It's not a jury trial so it's not as big of a deal that she acted like that and she did calm down after he threatened to strike her testimony. That's a huge threat to the DA because it goes to her not understanding how a court works. I would be shocked if she isn't dismissed from the case so I just don't see how him letting her act like that showed him running defense for her.

Questions that were either (1) agreed not to be part of this hearing or (2) were already asked/answered.
The judge did a really good job yesterday of controlling the court room in what was an utter shite show with like 7 lawyers trying to get their air time and one of the highest elected officials in Fulton County showing up out of nowhere to dismiss her motion to quash and testify unexpectedly.

She appeared to fit the ghetto trash stereotype in words and action of what I witnessed. Pretty disappointing to have her occupy a powerful legal position.

Naw.
She fits the empowered black woman stereotype, though.
