So 3 billion dollars goes to “foundation” to help health in LA meanwhile reimbursement rates for my group have not gone up since 2009 and are at about 50% the national average. This will run docs and providers out of state and it will run smaller hospitals and ASCs not attached to the mega sharks right out of business. Why not send that money to the healthcare providers u criminals.

The fact that he is in the administration and is part of the decision process is completely normal.

Most of y'all are probably too young to remember one of EWE's quotes when he was accused of packing a bunch of state boards with friends and political appointees. "Well yes. Who did you think I was going to appoint? My enemies?"

Hat I find odd and completely unsurprising is how quickly the advocate is going after Landry’s staff.. don’t recall the rush to stymie Edward’s so early.. what a shocker.

The advocate is just as liberal as the national MSM. To them Landry is Trump and John Bel is Biden. Ignore everything negative about johnny bel and dig, dig, dig to get a something negative on Landry.

It’s a known fact you’re a closet libtard. You’ve proven that time and time again.

Who was the “right choice” for governor?

As did I. Just don’t see this being any good for the state.

It's almost like it's intentional, innit?

I said before the election and still today, Landry will pass a bunch of conservative red meat social crap that will be of minimal benefit while doing little to nothing to improve the state as a whole. Particularly from an economic perspective

You have to be a policy holder

But that term has a few different meanings too.

You could be a policy holder with no vote and no compensation if your insurance is purchased through a group plan. For plans like these your employer is the policy holder and share holder. They have a single vote whether your employer buys 2 plans for 2 employees or thousands of policies for a large employer. Each would receive the same 3 thousand dollars for the sale.

Now if you purchase your insurance directly through BCBS, then you are policy holder and eligible to vote and will collect compensation from the sale.

This is why government needs to exit medical and healthcare altogether.

Self-service is why government is involved in medical and healthcare in the first place.

The deal's official hearing was scheduled to restart on Wednesday before the cancellation was announced. The vote would have allowed thousands of policyholders to voice their opinions regarding the merger without the influence of lawmakers.

Sounds like the early numbers were known and thousands of people were screaming no.

So you’re surprised that a slimy politician is doing slimy things now that he has more power?

Jeff Landry has already shown us who he is, this isn’t surprising.

I was one of the biggest Landry proponents on this site. I think I responded to you several times in other threads making the case for why Landry is a fighter, what he did for us going head to head against JBE re Covid vaccines etc. I see that Landry is slowly but surely proving that I was an idiot for vouching for this leopard/spots and you were right all along. Here's me eating crow - you were right all along.

I don't know where I saw this, but I think I saw commercial or Facebook Ad video praising the sale a few days ago, I guess that was money well spent.

Damn, this is a rarity on the PT (or anywhere online). I don't care what the specific issue is, good for you.

There’s a reason Louisiana is and will always be a shithole.
