Well I guess that's one way to get rid of rentals in your town.

Seems like an excellent plan!

It's like they want to create a housing crisis

Wow, parts of Europe are like this. If you can get a lease on a rental - basically the landlord cannot kick you out for anything

They should definitely do this.

There will be much profit from this. And there will be a (D) after their names.

This alone would be enough to make me stop renting property. Even if I was willing to accept vouchers, I wouldn't want to be forced to have to accept them.

Attorney's will have fun with this one. I had to leave because the landlord was harassing me. How was he harassing you? He kept calling and asking for the rent check.

Some really great replies by all. But this one sticks out to me as superior.
I used rail on stupid things done by stupid people. But sometimes they deserve what they voted for. Both the landlords and renters voted for this shite.
My only worry, and has been for some time - is all these stupid people moving to my state. Other than that, Cali just as well be another country and I have no reason to ever step foot in the communist shithole.

California is so liberal and adversarious that it should be treated as a hostile foreign country.

Watching this entire city’s infrastructure crumble into a wasteland will be one of the small joys of my life.

I mean, the solution seems fairly obvious.

Whats wild is Cali was a red state from 1952-1992 (POTUS voting) other than one 4 year period. Now it seems impossible to ever change them, as they are entrenched in law and big cities. Away from cities they have more Pubs than most states have residents.
If we could get the red voters to move to swing states that would be cool.

I’ll give the California leftists this much, it’s actually impressive how they continue to find new ways to frick up California even more than they’ve already done. Like, when you think they’ve accomplished the pinnacle of shite-holeness, they go an out do themselves.

Nope when you can’t afford to rent it out because you don’t have the capital or the attorneys to fight it, don’t worry. Blackrock/Vanguard will swoop right in and snag it. Once all the land and property is bought by the corporations that pay the liberal politicians and influencing judges the city/state will then miraculously have a change of heart. The rulings will be reversed.
There’s a saying. You may have heard of it.
“You will own nothing - and you will like it!”
Man, you said it perfectly. I was thinking exactly this.

I can't tell if they're too stupid to realize that the "solutions" they're implementing actually make the problem worse, or if they know that and it's intentional...basically the wolf in sheep's clothing.

These people are too stupid to realize their policies have the opposite effect than intended.
