I can't imagine Biden being allowed to stand, unscripted, and answer questions and defend accusations in a live setting.
How quickly he would fall apart and start hollering.

I think I would actually pay to watch this. They should do one a month between now and November.
Three over-produced debates have always been bullshite anyway. Do more of them, more frequently, and silo them for individual topics or subjects. No live audience.

That's how far Biden has degraded. Even trump is jumping up and eager to enter the debate stage where it'll be trump vs biden + the host.

I know some people were looking for any way to attack Trump but they really made themselves look politically ignorant when they cried over Trump not debating.
If you're up huge you don't debate, it's as simple as that. It's basic political strategy... You don't help your floundering opponents by giving them a stage next to you. Jindal didn't debate in 2007 or 2011 because he was up big in the polls and he won both elections in landslides. Trump didn't debate in the 2024 gop primaries and he's going to win the nomination in a landslide.

Being willing to debate Biden doesn't mean he isn't scared to debate. If it were just about ideas and policy there were 2 or 3 people in the GOP field who could have crushed him, and I say that as someone who will rush to vote for him in November.
Thats not to say the strategy to stay out of the primary debates wasn't smart on his end. Primaries are about staying as moderate as you can for the general while still winning over your party. He was able to do that without debating. I do think we deserved to see him partake in the marketplace of ideas against his competition. I'm not going to hold it against him that he didn't debate, but won't give him a total pass either.

He's definitely too scared to debate Nikki Haley...which is understandable, but disappointing.
