This better not be a bigger issue that the team is trying to hide.

He must have reaggravated it the 2-3 times he randomly slipped and turned the ball over in the final 5 min Monday night.

I'm guessing it's a pain management issue. If there were any injury risk they would shut him down for a few games.

Which is interesting because last game I felt like he showed a bit more bounce than usual.

Which leads me to believe he may have reaggravated it. Hoping thats not the case. Because we all know Zion can’t play until he feels like Zion.

I guess another possibility is that this is something he can play with but if the games didn't matter he'd rest to keep it from lingering and they wanted to confirm how bad this team is against contenders before the trade deadline.

If he sits tonight I'd bet on that being the reason and maybe he misses a few games with Houston, San Antonio, and Toronto on the schedule next.

Baws we’re entering the annual pels jan/feb implosion. Right on schedule. Play in here we come. I’ve been as positive as can be all season even after the lakers blowout. But seeing the shite show that was the OKC game in person broke me, the next 2 games were just the cherry on top.

He’s the leading game day photo player on Pels social media… they wouldn’t show his face if he was being sat for the game. They never do that.

Surely?

Is Herb out too? My ESPN app has both Herb and Zion listed as game time decisions.

Zion has missed 20% of our games this season without a real injury going into tonight. That’s maddening to me

That would equate to 65 games played. We'd all take that in a heartbeat

I would agree if he was playing at an MVP level. 65 games for a guy that can’t even make the all star team isn’t moving the needle

I feel we’re going to miss Herb more tonight than Zion. The fact I’m saying that shows you how much more Herb means to this team than Zion.

Not really. Missing 20% of your games without an identifiable injury (sorry but contusion means bruise) just isn’t very positive, any way you cut it.
