I know. But seriously, I have never understood how this Iran worship took hold with so many within our government. Iran can kill Americans at will and this clown administration won’t do shite.

Completely agree. And Iran knows it. That’s why they are acting out. It’s also why Biden won’t do shite.

Cotton is a bit surprising.

Planet of the Apes lady? Yep. Totally.

It’s true that you can’t let it go. But what the best response? Tehran? I don’t think that’s the answer right now unless we’re willing to go a whole helluva lot further with things and keep it up for a very long time.

Isreal will make a preemptive strike soon enough.

Need to shut down the bases and bring the troops home

Playing pattycake with Iran IS leading us into another ME war, morons.
Posted on 1/28/24 at 10:25 pm to saintforlife1
Is it in our national interests? This is not like maintaining international shipping lanes like Somolia.

Yes, we should not have troops there any longer. Time to GTFO.
Unfortunately, trade lanes through the red sea need to be protected. You'd expect since those lanes are dominated by Euro-Asian trade that those countries would step up and the US could take only a supporting role, but we all know that won't happen.
It will fall on the US to play cleanup duty yet again, and it will be messier than it needs to be because we have abject idiots running the show.
Another day, another mess in the ME. Lather, rinse, repeat.
And frick Biden for trying to "play nice" with Iran. What a damn fool.

If done properly it won't

Go sign up for war jackass!
Armchair tonight war guy….
Unless you’re being sarcastic in your post. Screw going to war or doing anything in the ME.
All you war mongers need find it with your own money, not our tax money and follow that with putting your physical asses on the front lines.

Kharg Island. No boots. Just aircraft and cruise missiles. If done right, Iran is out of the game for a decade, minimum.

They killed Americans (by proxy). How do you think we should handle this situation?
Why are American troops there to begin with?
Since 2001, if not before, the US should have been entirely focused upon 100% energy independence from the Middle East.
And a standing warning should have been given. An attack on the US will result in irradiating Medina. A second attack will result in irradiating Mecca. Beyond that Middle Eastern capitals will be targeted for irradiation.

Warmongers are one trick ponies. Invade a country, put US troops in harms way and continue to poke until a few die. They love their forever wars.

Winning a war isn’t policing your enemy, it’s defeating them. You should never go to war unless you plan on conquering or committing genocide. We aren’t willing to do either; therefore, we should reevaluate our position in a lot of foreign regions.
