Zelenskyy is Jewish, and Israel, well we already know about that. Gotta keep supporting our Jewish allies over our own citizens

Tolls have been reduced across the board by 26 percent

a large pickup truck would have paid a $3.82 toll. Under the new proposal, the toll for a large pickup truck will be 25 cents.

The math for this bridge has been all over the place but damn if both of those are true I assume the toll for a big rig would be higher than giraffe arse!!!

Tolling is how an entity gets paid for the construction and/or maintenance of a bridge if it doesn't have full funding.

If you allow them to build without full funding and now charge tolls that opens up the door for miss use. If we don't stop this then government will bleed us dry with tolls as this will be another slush fund for them to stick their hands in.

Agreed. 210 bridge should be the toll bridge and the new I-10 bridge should be free.

Neither one should be.

Yeah, I don’t see how a federal interstate can have a toll. We aren’t talking about bypasses, loops, or alternative highways. I10 is the main interstate vein.

and let me get this straight. we are going to charge just 25 cents to go over it? are we going to mail these bills? a postage is more than 25 cents. And who the hell is going to take the time out of their day to make a 25 cent payment?

Do you pay cash for everything? Wait... are you my dad?

Then please tell us how you would fund billion dollar infrastructure projects.

Are there any other toll roads on a major US interstates in the country? I think I remember one in Florida years ago.

Toll doesn't make any sense, nor does the rendering of a really tall bridge. Only boat traffic is barge.

Until we can get rid of some damn Democrats and RINOs in this country then this is a losing battle.

In other words....nothing will be done about this in our lifetime. There will be another Ukraine in our lifetime that we prop up in the name of "national security". It might even cost more!!!

States can toll federal highways?

Kansas tolls part of I35 and Oklahoma tolls part of I44, so apparently there is some way for them to do so.

I hope they utilize the same EZ Tag system that Texas does instead of putting toll both operators out there.

hopefully, they figure in some sort of reciprocity with Texas tags given that it is 20 miles from the border and shares industry travel. They won't and they will make Texans pay for the LA tag or whatever

Last I checked us Louisiana folk aren't exempt from the Texas tolls. shite I rolled through an EZ Tag not that long ago and got the bill in the mail. I would have thrown it in the trash but I travel to TX too much for that so I paid it.

i didn't say exempt. I just don't want to have to get another $ 40-a-year tag on my car for a bridge that i cross 10 times a year.

i don't have a problem paying the toll, just bill it to the tag already on my car.

Kansas has tolls everywhere.
it’s just the one road (Kansas turnpike (i35/i335/i70)) but your point stands. I avoid it like the plague unless I absolutely need it.
