TVA =/= Democrats... You should check with your representatives. You will find they don't share your opinion.

BTW, they met an all time record demand today.

Wednesday’s preliminary peak power demand was 34,526 megawatts at a system average temperature of 4 degrees.

That only works if everybody complies, which they won't. The rational thing to do is make your house as warm as possible in advance of the inevitable power failure.

Where did I say that? Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it?

I replied and quoted about who wants us all in EVs.

They = Government...DEMOCRATS!

Democrats are the ones trying to shove this EV shite down our throats.

I don't give a frick who shares my opinion, TVA is ran with a decidely liberal slant. Especially in their pushing of this EV bullshite.

TVA was created by (Democrats) Congress in 1933 as part of FDR's socialist Raw Deal.

GOOD! They did their job. Give them a big gold star.

TVA is pushing EV's hard...real hard.

Clearly, because both sides of the aisle support TVA in the valley. Republicans defended it against Obama when he wanted to explore dissolving it to taunt them.

If you ran a power producing organization, would you push for ICE or EV?

Imagine, a company pushing a technology that they financially benefit from and while they also bring in more industry in support of that same industry. Go look at Duke/Entergy/etc websites, they will all push EV in the same ways because it’s an industry thing. Hell even deregulated Texas companies will be pushing it. It makes business sense.

This would be akin to the oil industry pushing ICE.

TVA isn't a company. They are a government agency. A very liberal government agency at that.

You're averaging 20+ posts per day. How long do you think you can keep this energy up?

Then why aren’t Republicans trying to get it dismantled and removed from a very heavily Republican state? Why are they content and even support it?

Did TVA take your land or not give you a job or something?

I'm glad you're keeping up with me.

You must be one sad sack motherfricker to keep up with other men in a forum. I am simply replying to comments directed to me, in a thread that I started.

Maybe your pathetic arse should start some discussions instead of leg-humping other threads with asinine bullshite like, "I'm a countin' ya posts."

Please don't ask for dick pics. You're not my type.

Most legislators don't try to kill thousands of good paying jobs in their districts. Especially when they getting a slice of the kickback pie.

Are you a moron or something?

So you do understand that, but just go stupid when it comes to why they push EVs.

No, you idiot. I don't think TVA should be pushing an agenda to use more electricity. Especially when they beg consumers to limit usage.

I think they should be exploring more ways to produce more energy (their job) than to consume more than they can produce.

I'm sorry your TVA employed arse is too stupid to comprehend that much.

Pretty sure they have an entire department devoted to load growth. Have you even researched their planned load growth to see if they are following rate of EV adoption?

TVA would be hard pressed to consume more than they produce. Especially with them reducing buildings. Fix your sentence.

Yes, that is why they are begging us to reduce usage.

WTF does this say? What are they asking?

Why? You're claiming they can produce more than we can use.

That’s not what your sentence says, that’s what you meant, but you fricked it.
