Other than Popeyes, who is the elite chicken fryer in LA?

I've had more Brothers, but had a batch of KK to for lunch today in order to keep the caloric Christmas train rolling. Krispy Krunchy was really freaking good.

My vote: Brothers

1. Popingos(Ascension Parish Exxon/Mobils)
2. Brothers

3. Krispy Krunchy.

All three are delicious But KK is way behind the top 2.

I know they’re too small to be relevant, but Chicken Shack is solid

KK> Brother’s
(Opinion based upon the Bastrop Chevon kitchen).

Can't say I've tried Brother's, but KK has always disappointed me. It's hard for me to dislike a piece of fried chicken or a chicken tender, but they make it tough not to.

KK’s is much better than Brothers

Everyone saying Chubbie’s in Algiers is spot on too.

They make great dirty rice (with chicken livers, the way god intended).

I actually got some KK chicken in that Bastrop place today. First time I had ever had it, and I really liked it.

Ole Po-pingo's used to be KK. Haven't tried if they changed their recipe.

Not in LA so we don't have Brother's, but the Krispy Krunchy around the corner is pretty damn good.

Other than Popeyes,

My work travels takes me to SW La. a lot and I am always on the lookout for good Fried Chicken. Some of the best have been random gas stations I stopped to refill at. Recently discovered Mama's in the Opelousas area. Solid Chicken, killer good huge arse Cathead Biscuits and as as bonus, righteous Gizzard & Liver boxes with Fried Okra.

It's worth my detour into the um, suburbs of Opelousas

Never had either, and I don't know of a Brothers near me, but I may have to try Krispy Krunchy.

If you are ever in Auburn or Montgomery, Pannie George's Kitchen does good things with chicken and their house hot sauce is good on it.
