This is my biggest fear. I think I'd take my body going to shite before my mind going to shite. I want every second that I can have with the people I love. Still being here in body but not in mind seems cruel to everyone. You're going to have to be cared for in either scenario. At least you could attempt to express gratitude with your mind.

Yea, this one legitimately concerns me right now. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and I love meat and I love milk.

Be careful. I know of 4 people in my area with various levels of it.

Pancreatic cancer or glioblastoma.

Death sentences.

We have made a lot of progress treating many different cancers, but those two will get ya.

Can’t a medication prevent heart disease? My doctor said every cancer except one be treated. Maybe someone here knows which one.

Actually, more than that,
Alzheimer's. I don't want my family to have to care for me after my essence is gone

Isn’t that the one you get screened for at 40?

This is a bit long, but for me, dementia. I watched 2 grandparents pass from it.

Now I’m not an overly spiritual person, but my mother had 2 experiences with a medium that could not be explained by social media research or sleuthing.

The medium was ‘allegedly’ speaking with my grandmother (who passed from dementia) to my mother.

She said that my grandmother wanted my mom to know it was ok and that she understood why she didn’t stay longer when she visited. She was just glad she came (Other siblings never came). The way I take it, my grandmother was holed up in her mind for the 4 years she was withering away from dementia. She was cognizant of it all. Trapped in her head.

That terrifies me.

Any type of nervous system disease such as MS, ALS, or autoimmune such as Guillan-Barre (incidence is a little more since covid, it was really rare prior to)

Alzheimer's because of how hard it is on the family. I'd rather just die quickly of a heart attack or stroke.
