For the record, I have always wanted the Saints to win. I've been a fan since the early '80s.

However, after having Dennis Allen, Carmichael, Derek Carr just suck the pure joy of watching the Saints out of me, I just don't have the patience for it anymore.

I never thought a part of me would want the Saints to lose out, just so we can get rid of these coaches and get a nice draft pick.

Now I'm worried, that Dennis Allen will win just enough, to give us hope for the playoffs only to drop it against Atlanta or in the wild card, virtually guaranteeing him sticking around one more year.
Not to mention, picking a mid-late first rounder (no chance at top QB)

Not really conflicted about it. Def rooting for losses at this point for the long term betterment of the franchise. Feel like the only way Gayle and Loomis won’t do something stupid and get in their own way by keeping Allen and not cleaning house is if we fall apart and they have zero choice but to clean house.

I get being a true fan etc etc but not conflicted at all. This team needs to lose so Allen gets fired and we get the best draft pick possible. Everything is a waste of time until DA is gone, and they won’t pick a first round QB if he’s still around.

Yes, it’s not that they lose it’s HOW they lose.

Not conflicted at all. If they win the division and make the playoffs this front office is going to take that as a sign that Allen is moving in the right direction and they’ll retain him. That can’t happen.

You're not a bad fan if you want us to lose to get rid of this regime.

This is a professional football team involved in a multi billion dollar business. They have absolutely NO loyalty to you. It's great to be a fan. It's even better to be a fan when the professional team you support hires competent people.

Dead inside.

Probably should root for losses but this franchise is too inept to tank - worst case scenario is 8-9 and missing the playoffs by one game.

I wanted Allen fired the day they fricking hired him. Whatever needs to happen to make that happen, I’m good with.

I'll take the wins when they come and not mind the losses at this point.

That's how I'm choosing to feel about all of this time in the current era.

Nope. Won’t be watching today as I’m
Headed to ballfield. Let Em lose out. Whatever it takes. You’re in NFL hell now. Not a contender and not bad enough to get a top 5 pick. Tank and lose out. 3 straight years. Stack picks.

I'm not conflicted at all. Remember, the only thing Benson and Loomis care about is revenue, at some point the numb nut fanatics are going to have to stop showing up and even showing tacit support. The Saints are going to get their portion of TV and advertising revenue, but 6-7 win seasons should light a fire in the fanbase.

I’ll never root against the Saints, but I can see why others would in this instance.

It has been worse. 1996 was rough. So was ‘99.

I did bet $205 on Detroit. If they win, I get my money back plus $100.

I did use Lions and Saints players in my DK lineup this week.

Gibbs and LaPorta for the Lions
Olave and Taysom for the Saints

the point total is 48 for the game

could at least be an entertaining loss today
