Farm Bureau, six month policy on 2023 Tacoma was ~$620 for the first two periods. Just went up to ~$830 for the next six months. No accidents, no tickets, perfectly clean driving record. Why?

They all went up here. We didn't change anything and ours increased 18%.

Labor, cost of vehicles, cost of repairs. It's all gone way up in the past few years.

Farm Bureau told me that it was a statewide increase to their rates of between 20 and 30 %.

What a great way to pay back their long time customers.

In the past I’d switch companies in a hot second. Problem with doing that now is that my home and auto are bundled with FB, and it’s becoming really difficult to get homeowners in south Louisiana.

It's not just auto insurance. Our G/L policy at my company shot up nearly 30%. We had no catastrophes or business interruption in any form last year. Revenue slightly higher but not a ton.

Mine’s gone up over 35% the last 18 mos. No accidents, tickets, changes, etc.

Yes everything has become more expensive, but also, people sue way too much. This drives up costs for everyone else.

Up due to uninsured drivers. Got to blame the irresponsible unstoppable managed boogeyman.
