With nearly nine weeks gone of the 2023 NFL regular season, here is our second mock draft of the cycle.

quote:

1. *TRADE* NEW YORK GIANTS (VIA ARZ): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

Record: 2-7

With Daniel Jones struggling when healthy and now potentially out for the year with a knee injury, the Giants will likely finish within striking distance of Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. Here, they get aggressive to ensure this season is a fluke and not the start of a trend.

quote:

2. CHICAGO BEARS: QB DRAKE MAYE, NORTH CAROLINA

Record: 1-7

3. CHICAGO BEARS: WR MARVIN HARRISON JR., OHIO STATE
Record: 2-7

4. *TRADE* ARIZONA CARDINALS (VIA NYG): OT OLU FASHANU, PENN STATE
Record: 1-8

5. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: OT JOE ALT, NOTRE DAME
Record: 2-7

6. LOS ANGELES RAMS: QB BO NIX, OREGON
Record: 3-6

7. GREEN BAY PACKERS: OT TALIESE FUAGA, OREGON STATE
Record: 3-5

8. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: EDGE LAIATU LATU, UCLA
Record: 3-5

9. DENVER BRONCOS: WR MALIK NABERS, LSU
Record: 3-5

10. TENNESSEE TITANS: OT JC LATHAM, ALABAMA
Record: 3-5

DA ain’t picking a 240lb edge rusher for the Saints. Not saying it works out well but he goes for big, long DEs historically. And LBs that can cover

19. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: EDGE DALLAS TURNER, ALABAMA

Record: 5-4
Player ADP (via MDS): 19.2
Player Big Board Rank: 17
It feels like it’s going to be a trench pick for the Saints this offseason, whether that’s the offensive or defensive line. With a lot of the top offensive tackles already off the board, Turner is a good value pick here for New Orleans. He is more of an outside linebacker type of edge player and is having a career year as a pass-rusher for the Crimson Tide, sporting a 17.3% pass-rush win percentage. Turner has always displayed good explosiveness, but he is flashing added strength this season, too.

LSU fans will love this pick.

The Bears landing Maye and Harrison, Jr. should definitely improve their offense.

That Panthers trade last year is looking to be an absolute disaster.

They could've picked up a solid OT last year and still had a top 10 pick this year and picked up someone like Bo Nix.

Bears fans my commit mass suicide if they draft another QB from North Carolina at 2 overall.

I don’t want a WR at #9, if that ends up being the draft position.

ETA: Brock Bowers. Come on over.

Brian Thomas Jr. At 54 is a steal. He’s going to be good.

only a fool would take Bo Pix in the first round. If you want to see what he would look like in the pro's just watch the 4 times he has lost to UGA.

Bo and 4

The Giants are in for 36 million for Jones next year with a 47 million cap hit. It doesn't get manageable until after 2026. His cap hit in 2026 is 58 million. They are stuck with him. No way they make that trade. The only way it could work if they traded him and agreed to pick up a big part of his salary. I doubt there are any teams dumb enough to do that.

If the Patriots get a tackle with a good QB prospect on the board, I will break things.

Assuming they get the #1 overall, that trade and the selection by the Cardinals makes no sense at ALL.

Why would the Cards, who desperately need a QB and WR, trade down exactly four spots and ensure themselves of missing out on both Williams and Maye and likely Harrison as well and then take a tackle after they drafted Paris Johnson 6th overall just last season?
