Is the judge essentially saying that the banks are terrible at their jobs and he, who's never been in the banking/lending industry, is a better judge of value?

This judge values his opinion too much.

Essentially. This judge does not know the difference between a property appraisal, a tax assessment, and a business valuation.

Find Trump guilty.

Depends. Which way is most likely to negatively impact Trump, if that were even possible?

You can’t start with a preconceived notion before even an indictment, masquerade the perversion as “justice”, and then lecture everyone when they call you out for the bullshite that it is.

Poor judge is bewildered, wondering why nobody respects his authoritai.

Michael Jordan listed his Chicago mansion for 29MM 2 decades ago and it still sits, unsold and abandoned.

Are we going to throw MJ in jail too?

Dude are you retarded? That's not at all comparable to the accusations being made here.

And I think they're pretty meaningless accusations to worry about

He's actually already done that and entered the verdict. This trial is just to determine damages.

Both the judge and AG are being paid to do this! It’s all corrupt BS.

Not an attorney but seems like his personal bias is so brazen he's begging for this to be tossed, retried.

Well, for starters, the idea that banks are just amazing at their jobs is silly.

But to get to your main point, the judge hasn't made a up a single value for any property. He has merely noted what Trump said they were worth vs what appraisers and other documents said they were worth. Or, for instance, the person who did appraisals for Trump testified under oath that some of the appraisal amounts on documents had his name next to them but he never did that appraisal. The trump org just put his name next to them.

So you can pretend this is a big witch hunt, but if you forge appraisals, you should get in trouble for it, period. You can't do that.

Add, to drag Trump through his court as long as he possibly can. The Judge and prosecution goal is to eat into Trump time and money as much as they can. The Judge will find guilty so that more money has to be spent on appeal.

Judge absolutely made a valuation on Trump’s MAL property. He appraised it at 18 million. Judge supposedly does appraisals on a side

How is it different?? Somewhere on a financial statement, a billionaire has an asset valued at 29MM except no one else on planet earth thinks its worth that much. So I ask again... How is it different?

I agree- however it seems the more time spent on these trials is boosting trumps polling. Hate to see that lol
