This would apply for pipe tobacco or if you just roll your own. If you're buying cigarettes there's a littany of harmful additives in those things that I would imagine puts vapes to shame.

Vaping to today’s kids is the same as dipping/chewing was to my generation and smoking cigarettes to the generation before mine.

“What have you got?”

getting them from the Discount Zone down the street. Lots of places sell vape products that aren't vape stores.
Just like when we would buy a pack of smokes when we were kids, it was at the local convenience store, not the Tinder Box in Lakeside mall.
Is the discount zone not considered a "convenience" store, as in the "Convenience and Vape Store Association"?
Yeah, I agree that kids are getting them from gas stations, not vape shops... but if gas stations are trying to block this rule...

I thought potato Joe’s menthol ban did this already?

Hundreds in the paper used to roll it, alone.

Then they can make a law where it can only be purchased at licensed vape shops. Its still not a good idea though. Grown arse people who are capable of making their own decisions shouldn't have to suffer because some quicky mart Indians don't bother to check IDs.

I have been vaping about a year, I smoked for 40+ years and was able to make the switch to Vape.(2-3 packs a day)
I save about 4k a year.
No longer congested everyday.
I can smell things a mile away now especially someone smoking.
Taste has improved.
Not wheezing any longer.
Pecker gets harder.
The list goes on.
I realize vaping needs long term research on impacts to health but please dont take away my lemon mint Elfbar...........yet.

They want to ban flavored disposable vapes, but you can still find a million brands of candy and fruit flavored liquor on the sales floor.

It's all bullshite. The law allows the sell of FDA approved vapes and cigarettes of course. All the FDA approved vapes are put out by the tobacco companies. Big tobacco wants their business back and obviously is greasing some palms to get it.
Its exactly what it is.
Politicians love this shite because not only do they get bennies from the tobacco lobbyists, they get to do something low effort to make it look like they did something.

I'd mentioned it in the other thread, but when the FDA banned all flavored vapes except for tobacco and menthol flavors….it was pretty obvious big tobacco was trying to use the vape craze as an opportunity to wean the younger population back to cigarettes. Kids aren't gonna switch from their cotton candy vapes to Marlboro Reds. But if it all tastes the same, what's the difference? They're already hooked anyway.
Create a sensationalist outcry to get the general public on board, grease a few palms in the government, and then profit. A tale as old as time.

Is Zyn on the list of shite they're trying to ban?
Pretty sure in some states (California) it's illegal to sell flavored Zyn but "smooth" and "chill" are legal. Makes zero sense

Can someone tell me a little bit about the vape business? The number of vape shops I pass from my house to driving down La 1 to Baton Rouge is amazing. I'd say its about 10. And I saw a new one being opened up in Brusly. And its all Arabs. What's the deal?
Is there that much of a demand? I know they have other things than just vape supplies, but it seems to all be smoking type of products and I understand its something people run in, buy and run out so its never going to have a lot of business at once, but why is it all Arabs? Do they get some type of tax break?

bullshite! these politicians get money from big tobacco to go after vaping. if they were trying to "protect citizens" they'd ban cigarettes, but they aren't doing that.

Yep. They don't give a frick if kids are addicted. They just want them addicted to their poison.
