It’s a front for a Hezbollah campaign to colonize America. It seems to be working.

Yep. They don't give a frick if kids are addicted. They just want them addicted to their poison

They sure do make great pawns for folks in power though. Plenty of laws have used "won't someone think of the children!?" as their cover for alteration motives.

I'm not worried about vaping, but ban the obnoxious, trashy looking LED flashing store fronts.

Does this go back to the FDA thread? Who is in charge of approving this stuff for healthy consumption.

Plus. Cops need to bust folks for selling to underage kids.

If you ask my wife she would say I am an overage kid.

I know in Kenner at least 20 vape stores opened in the last 3 years.

But it's not

Please link verified medical data showing cigarettes are less harmful than vaping.

I’m not a vaper. But I find it odd how you trashy smokers will do anything to justify your nasty decisions.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Dairy Farmer's Association are the ones behind the legislation prohibiting the sale of raw milk at farmer's markets.

Johns Hopkins on vaping vs. tobacco. The main dangers you refer to are not from normal legitimate vape products.

quote:

1: Vaping is less harmful than smoking, but it’s still not safe.
E-cigarettes heat nicotine (extracted from tobacco), flavorings and other chemicals to create an aerosol that you inhale. Regular tobacco cigarettes contain 7,000 chemicals, many of which are toxic. While we don’t know exactly what chemicals are in e-cigarettes, Blaha says “There’s almost no doubt that vaping exposes you to fewer toxic chemicals than smoking traditional cigarettes.”

However, there has been an outbreak of lung injuries and deaths associated with vaping. In February 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed 2,807 cases of e-cigarette or vaping use-associated lung injury (EVALI) and 68 deaths attributed to that condition.

“These cases appear to predominantly affect people who modify their vaping devices or use black market modified e-liquids. This is especially true for vaping products containing THC,” explains Blaha.

But that eats into Big Tobacco’s profits, and it’s funny how I haven’t seen this anywhere else but this silly state. Go figure. As if there aren’t much much much more pressing issues to tackle than freaking people getting off of smokes.

bans retailers from selling vape products not listed on a state-approved registry

Doesn't matter. Stores will continue to sell vape products, kratom products, etc...because law enforcement doesn't have time to police something like this.

Or crime, or drag racers, or well, pretty much anything really.

And the state and local governments certainly haven’t had time for the roads or entire infrastructure for some time, and I wouldn’t look for it to improve either, not as long as we can focus our energies on silly stuff like vaping, and the like.

These people tackle NO real quality of life altering issues, and I mean NONE!!! They get people to occupy their little brains with stuff like this and meanwhile ignore the enormous problems that keep people from ever wanting to relocate to Louisiana, which BTW, is dead last right now in people relocating here, but is that really a surprise at this point to anyone? I mean, are you shocked?

If popcorn lung was seriously a common thing you would see it everywhere. Almost everybody in their 20s these days is vaping.

The tobacco companies have put huge dollars into anti-vape propaganda. Tobacco companies are also huge donors to politicians in both parties. This is not conspiracy but fact.

If the government were serious about protecting health they would ban cigarettes, but they have never once proposed that have they? What do they do instead? Keep increasing the cig taxes because they love their revenue too.

Most of them sell weed products (more people are buying those delta 8 vapes and what not which weren’t around 5 years ago), vapes, and meth/crack products. While the first 2 aren’t a big deal the last one is scary.

The injunction won't last. Altria and big tobacco have already paid off all the right people. They're done getting their asses kicked by Elf Bars and others.

Dumbest thing Trump ever did was destroy Juul.

Yes, a ban would mean that out of state retailers cannot legally sell and ship them to anyone in Louisiana… but if you read the article, they say the ban has been temporarily lifted while they battle it out in court.
