Halloween is awesome. If I want to be festive and party, I can. If I want to utterly fricking ignore it, I can. Kids have fun, adults have fun. You just sound shitty

Now that I have kids, no.
When we were in our late 20s and early 30s and silly adults loved to claim Halloween as their favorite holiday, yes, it was annoying. 35 year old women talking about spooky season, get off my lawn losers.
I do think it's one of 1000 very good indicators of how we do everything to excess in this country. Nobody celebrated Halloween for a month when I was a kid.

I like Halloween about as much as I like Valentines Day.
It's just as well that I'll be at work that night. I'll be sure to leave the porch light off before I leave home.

We don't get trick or treaters out here in the sticks. Same as every other day.
