Everything is being taken away from the kids, back in my day candy was dirt cheap, and we stayed out till the street light came on!

a smedium sized bag of nerds clusters going for $7 at gas stations and convenience stores . Same bag at a grocery store going for $4

Yep. Some of the movie box candies that were a $1.00 are now $1.25 and some of the boxes are smaller.

You haven't been to the movies in a while. I brought my kids a while back, and the concession stand cost me more than the movie tickets.

Yeah, I was in HEB yesterday and was gong to buy Halloween Candy for next week. A bag was $26 for fricking candy. I might just turn the porch lights off this year.
