A couple of them in that article aren’t that bad looking. But certainly not worth an STD.

Convert an old K-Mart into a safe, comfortable and relatively clean brothel where the girls are tested and the state can tax things and be done with it.
I've never heard a satisfactory explanation from anyone on why that isn't the way to handle the whole situation.
Benefits:
-Takes the street gang pimps out of the equation
-Allows the girls to be tested for diseases
-Allows for underage prostitutes to be ID'd and helped
-Eliminates related crime (robbery, rape, etc)
-Takes it out of the public eye
-Allows the government to tax the transaction
This is one of the few things along with obesity that the Europeans do a much better job of dealing with than we do.

I am not 100% opposed to that line of thinking but you have to be real about what the outcomes will be such as bare asses walking around soliciting.
All ideologies have massive issues when pushed to the extremes. Law and Order types would be flash banging, arresting, and charging 14 year olds as adults while also going after pimps for being child traffickers. Liberals would put in social programs that wouldn't help. Most libertarians understand that some rule of law is needed, but recognize how bloated and horrendous our government has become. Two consenting adults should be able to do what they want, but it is painfully obvious gangs and other actors are restricting that fair trade. It's not like the issue was truly manageable before as well, it just occurred at night when nobody gave a shite.
