I remember when I was a kid in the 80's, paw paw had the best persevere s. He always had a ton of different varieties. As a kid I always thought it was just normal. When I got older, he let me sip something different out of a mason jar. He said here boy take a sip of this. Him being from Tennessee, of course it was moonshine. He was a guard at the nuclear test facility at oak ridge during wwII. And he was a baw.

Any fruit jelly works and I have been known to also make a peanut butter, banana, bacon and mikes hot honey one

My two usual go-to jellies/jams are Strawberry and Blackberry.

But I don't have any I can truly say I don't like at all with Apple Butter being the least favorite.

Now, in the morning with a hot sausage/biscuit, I love using my homemade Habanero Pepper Jelly.

Smucker's Grape Jelly.

The best jelly I ever had was the muscadine jelly we made when I was a kid, closely followed by the blackberry we also made ourselves.
