It's changing back to a goold ol' boy government style. EWE 2.0. A very few deciding the fate of others. Feudalism is still alive and well in the 3rd world of Louisiana.

Landry is just another little cocky, self-absorbed coonass.

We'll have the same lawyer parasite economy, driving businesses away, but Jeff will grandstand on a few social issues. Yay.

Maybe we'll get constitutional carry, but I'm not holding my breath. The police state cronies found a way to block it before when R's had veto power. It died in committee the time after that.

Hopefully we move K-12 education to the TOPS model. If the state can pay TOPS funds to both public and private universities in-state, we should do the same follow the student type funding for K-12.

His best move would be selling New Orleans to Haiti for $50.

Landry is surrounded by gangsters and plaintiff lawyers. Don’t expect anything except pandering to the right wing outrage of the day.

Nothing.

R's had super majority and could've passed anything they wanted. Instead jack shite got passed

They did get some stuff passed. However, Edward’s still had veto power which either neutered some of what they passed, or completely shut it down. The bigger issue is that R’s called two veto override sessions and cowered in each. If you aren’t going to override the vetos then why call it? It just makes you look weak.

The R’s may or may not have a super majority now (I didn’t look at the numbers), but they at least have a VERY STRONG majority. With a Democrat governor out of they way they will have ZERO excuses should they fail to pass their agenda.

will probably be a pocket constitution you have to carry for $20/year.

Appointees in state administration will be changed. It makes a difference. This is going to be good for the state. JBE's people will be out.
