They did it. 47M the worst opening in MCU history and that includes The Incredible Hulk 55.4M and Ant-Man 57.2. The MCU was not even a thing when Incredible Hulk opened in 2008 and when you factor in all the advantages The Marvels had...just wow. I'm impressed this failed even worse than the horrific predictions. Those over 25 year old men weren't going back for multiple showings i take it.

Funny how the target audience (Gen Z and millennial women) still have yet to take an interest in any of Disney's female-centric efforts. They don't seem to actually care about this content for any other reason than to note it on their gender war scoreboard.

It's almost as if...the female-centric writing is more about spite towards nerd culture than about championing women.

The final products speak for themselves.

Several outlets like Variety and Daily Wrap are already using “actors couldn’t do the press junkets because of the strike” as an excuse for this.

Has anybody, ever, gone to see a movie solely because they saw the actor talk about how great it is on Fallon? GTFOH.

Re-watch “End Game” and then “The Marvels” and you’ll see how far the franchise has fallen.

You knew this movie was definitely fricked when the final trailer was trying to pull you in just for the post credit scene.

I don’t know anything about it, which is also telling. You used to not be able to look anywhere without seeing the post-credit scene posted or talked about.

This movie looked like trash from the beginning and as we have all said, Marvel fatigue is high.

Just think here in US, The Marvels movie made $47 mil over a 3 plus day weekend. Jimbo Fisher made $75 mil for sucking at his job. Crazy.

Saw it yesterday and just thought it was meh. It's bottom tier Marvel. I've already forgotten the name of the bad guy (girl). I went in with low expectations and it delivered as expected.

Just wait and see how bad the next Captain America movie is. It’s been delayed because they have to reshoot to tone down the OMB and Jan 6 references.
