When did responding to question, whether it could be answered with just “yes” or “no” ending being responsed by saying “yeah, no…” or “no, yeah…”

I do it as well, just a slow night on the OT

Conflict avoidance is the root of ineffectual language and communication.

I'd rather have a Brit call me a count and "advise" me to reconsider than deal with weeks and months of American bullshite.

I deal with a lot of European professionals, and I've noticed Americans are way more blunt.
