Seeing Anakin in force ghost form was cool, too
The short time we’ve seen him in this series has been so awesome. Really looking forward to how his story is continued.

I would assume Dathomir, where the night sisters settled when they came to the known galaxy. Where Darth Maul is from.

Wasn’t a fan of the episode
The only plot it moved was Thrawn leaning the planet and we knew that was happening 4 episodes ago

Umm wtf was that? What a miserable finale that didn’t answer any questions
yea ffs
The worst part of this show is the dialogue between Sabine and Ahsoka, holy hell I want to fall asleep or fast forward through their parts.
We get this awesome lead up to Thrawn landing on Dathomir and then nothing. Still no idea what their cargo is.
We get Baylan headed to this mysterious light that he's been searching for and then nothing. (and now he's dead IRL, RIP storyline)
Ezra is home, yay.
Sabine and Ahsoka are "where they should be" while Anakin looks on at their failure of living with the hermit crabs.
What was the point in Shin? lol
Pretty letdown

Not sure what the Anakin was about in the end.
It seemed pretty pointless

Sabine didn’t just learn about the force….Ahsoka had apparently been trying to train her after Rebels but before this series. And with that training she still hadn’t shown any strong force powers. Then suddenly she can throw Ezra long distances when she could barely force grab a light saber earlier in the same scene.
Maybe it was the same way Luke went from never knowing a god damn thing about the force to spending an afternoon with obi-wan with the littlest of training to trusting the force to help him guide the proton torpedoes using only the force to blow up the Death Star.

Enjoy being miserable about a good show and Star Wars story.

This episode should have been 90 minutes long. We had a Lightsaber overdose and not a lot of plot. While some meat needs to be left on the bones for next season we needed a little more story to better set up the next part of this series.

Just realized the symbol drawn under the Chimaera is in fact a Chimaera and not the symbolism used in the Thrawn origin books.
I'm not mad at the finale, turned out pretty damn good, especially knowing there would be a season 2. Not perfect but lots of action with a decent amount of new content between Thrawn and Ahsoka.
Morgan got fricked to be honest but her new shadow powers will probably get her another return.
Zombie fricking troopers was fricking awesome and now i want to listen to that Death Troopers Audio Book.

I think between Anakin's ghost and Waylon standing on a giant statue of the father, we can pretty well guess that Anakin is part of the new trio of force balance and Ashoka will be part of that. Not sure who the son will be for the darkness though. I thought the father and son statues were interesting to see but the daughter wasn't there that I saw.
Shin baffled me a bit, she ran back to the little rebel group and rallied to them.
Wish I saw more Baylon before the absolute very end. They could have at least shown something happening to him and transforming him to make it an easier recast.
Why did Ezra fly the ship all the way to Hera with all of the trooper gear on except as a dumb "surprise"? I didn't see him there, but that would have been a perfect time for Zen to have been in the hangar bay when Ezra landed walking out with Chopper and Hera.
Morgan was badass. Wish she had scurried off instead of dying. She would have made a badass villain going forward with her new powers. This time let Ashoka and she fight to a standstill and Morgan retreat when Sabine enters the fight.

Sabine never believed she could use the force. When they arrived a few episodes ago and the night sisters said she stunk of Jedi was a moment that gave her confidence. Seeing Ezra gives her more confidence. Ahsoka telling her she’ll always be there for her, more confidence.
Being in a life or death situation will make you focus on survival, and through that focus she was finally able to use the force to move something.
Once you get that first feeling, of using the force and also gaining even more confidence, all of a sudden she feels she can do anything.
Nothing about it was far fetched, imo.

I’ve criticized the show. It’s not perfect, but it’s good Star Wars unlike most of the other crap we’ve been given.
I just don’t agree with this sentiment that I know y’all are trying to say, that a woman was able to wield the force to easily. I thought there was more than enough build up to her finally using it.

They left a lot open for season 2.
It is a shame Ray passed. They will have to recast Baylan.
Sabine has had loads of training. But she had mental blocks that kept her from actually opening up to the Force. Luke is super powerful but he struggles with similar mental hurdles in Empire Strikes Back.

I do not believe it has confirmed there will be a season 2 yet. Remember Disney called Ashoka a mini-series.

I thought they missed the boat on an episode of thrawn and Ezra recap on how they got to this point. Maybe the episode right after they were introduced show an episode of what happened right after rebels and how they survived.

And how does Sabine go from having never exhibited any significant force ability and struggling to force grab her light saber from 10’ away to suddenly being able to force throw Ezra onto the ship from a fairly considerable distance away 2 minutes later?
Well, the force is female, bigot.

You need to put some respect on the Great Mothers name.

How in the frick can there not be a season 2? The show absolutely does not stand alone unlike Obi Wan

They’ll call season 2 Sabine or Ezra. If we are lucky Hondo

It looks like another Sith pyramid like the one on Malachor (season 2 finale of rebels). That pyramid was a superweapon and was possessed be a female Sith that spoke to Ezra. Could be something similar reaching out to Baylon.
