Curt Schilling went on his Baseball "show" and announced:
Tim Wakefield has aggressive Brain Cancer
Tim's wife is battling pancreatic cancer as well.
The Wakefields did not announce this information and wanted to keep it completely private.
The Red Sox had to issue a statement on their behalf:

I don’t give six cacas about Schilling’s politics, I don’t do politics on social media or message boards, and I appreciate and believe in the power of prayer, but for him to share specific, detailed information that he not only was not given permission to share, but that the Wakefields apparently wanted to be kept private (as per the team’s statement) is reprehensible and beneath contempt.

Schilling shouldn't have revealed that but isn't the media going overboard on this story just throwing gas on the fire?
If Wakefield wants privacy then I'm guessing he doesn't want the talking head idiots using his situation to rant about Schilling for the next week.
Maybe we can get Deion in on this action.
