The GameDay experience has sucked for 10 years or so. Living close to the stadium actually made leaving worse in some ways.
On the couch with beer, food, and a bathroom started to look much better than spending 1k a game a few years ago. Finally pulled the trigger a few years ago and never looked back.
I can here yall in traffic trying to get home now while I'm on the patio with a beer and cigar

We finally got Aramark out of EBRSchools... because they contracted with HES, which is ten times worse.

This thread is why Tiger stadium is a shell of its former self. In the 70's and 80's no one gave a crap about the concession stand. You went to the game to see your tigers play and could care less about hot dogs, chicken fingers, etc..
I wish they would close the concession stands so half of the people would not show up and the rest can enjoy the actual game.

Concessions were a joke in south stadium, so were the bathrooms.

The restrooms in the bowl have never had hot water. Were you brewing tea??
I think he’s trying to say that the bottled water wasn’t cold.

But times have changed and for these places to survive (Tiger Stadium included) you have to have it make sense to the buyer.
Unless they upgrade some things TVs, bathrooms, Food options they will lose more and more people to their homes.
It’s just how it goes.

Tader, don’t talk that be thankful for what you got jargon in this case damn you! This man is attending games, paying out his arse, thus deserves - and yes is entitled to - concessions and restroom facilities for the ENTIRETY of the event! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR, Salad!!!?

If you can’t go 3 to 3 1/2 hours without eating or consuming alcohol then you need to reevaluate yourself.

Can and want to are two diff things.
Todays consumer is about experiences. Long lines, crap food, hot beer are not normal.
LSU has ignored this aspect. Go to almost any other venue.

Don’t waste your time going to concessions. Miss most of the game.

Yeah we had a guy pass out in our section from the heat. We had to run to get the sheriff and EMTs they didn't have any cold water so they put ice on his neck and put some ice in the water bottle to try to cool it down. He was carried off in a chair stretcher but turned out to be okay luckily.

The crazy thing about this is they’re woefully prepared and run out of concessions early during games where Tiger Stadium is maybe 60% full on the high side. Image games like Alabama where people actually show up.

It's a football game, not a restaurant

That’s a shame. I love to drink me a big-gulp sized cup of hot water when I’m at a football game.

A large component of this is the staffing and oversight of each location. Volunteers are not trained or prepared to think peripherally as it pertains to running an effective food and beverage operation.
