I believe its a school system where you don't send your kids. I think they have a private catholic school.

You are semi-isolated from Baton Rouge by a Mississippi River bridge where traffic is fair on the best days. The most you can do daily on the West side, the easier your life will be.

If enrolled in public schools then MSA would be the way to go. Not much newer housing in the real estate market other than The Island developments. If you don't mind a remodel there are housing options available.
