When I take my dogs for a walk on the trails behind our house the 4 month old puppy almost always brings back a rock to play with on the deck when we get back. This time it was bright yellow/green and I thought it was a piece of plastic but it is a rock. It has been polished so likely dropped by a kid and not native.

Does anyone have a clue? Google failed me. But this is the closest thing I found which could be it with veins of something else in it. The brown veins don't seem to be dirt since I can't scratch it out with a dental pick.

It's the residue of an airplane toilet flush that froze and calcified on its descent to the ground. Congrats on the find!

Maybe chrysoprase or lemon chrysoprase.

Looking at a variety of Google images of both, I'd lean towards lemon chrysoprase... some pics include marbling like yours.

I think my wife may have it, her response:

"Looks like someone polished a Russian kidney stone after they drank polonium tea."
