Don't disagree. Arcola is almost too small to consider a town. Good people in Greenville but it is terrible overall.

Nice try, but I know better.

However the Black Sheep Restaurant there sucks. They don't know how to take care of people with reservations. As in never give them a table, even though 20th wedding anniversary reservations were made in person, days in advance.

Blue Ridge itself is beautiful, and I wish I lived there.

I'm going to throw in Shiprock, N.M.
Absolute crap town, the only thing that keeps it from being one of the worst, is the surrounding view. Calexico, CA. was pretty damn bad too.

Not sure what part of Birmingham I had a driver. I flew in and was just working with a crew there for that day. All houses in that neighborhood had bars on the windows and every other house was burned out. We kept the vehicles close to where we were working so nothing got smashed and grabbed.

2nd worse place was in a neighborhood just outside of Fort Bragg.

I live 30 miles from there and avoid it as much as possible.

I usually only have to go there for sports. Fortunately they don’t have any shopping or dining to make my wife want to go there.

My answer in Rio Grande City or Crystal City for Texas.

I like Tuskegee. some of those shops downtown have some very nice interesting people. Selma is bad but it's half decent. has some nice antebellum homes.

Glad someone does. The Institute is nice and well kept, the rest of the town is crap. Most of the old, and once attractive home are boarded up or in need of repair. Even WBIL is overgrown in weeds.

But most of those still exist as towns. I remember a town in southeast Kansas that was a one story brick building (the oldest sign on it said Bank, painted over that was General Store and then something else, next to it was a pile of weathered lumber, and that's all that was left of that town at what had been a major intersection.

São Paulo Brazil.
Went there for work.
Factory folks said do not leave the hotel grounds or you will get robbed.
People living in shacks all over the city. Poor people here are not poor compared to the people in Brazil.
Makes you appreciate the ole USA
