Was in Jackson in 2001, but back then it was nothing like you see it as today.

Been to Baton Rouge a dozen times plus, between 2011 - 2016 and I never had a problem there during that time. Stayed a week at a time with my job.

I was in San Fran a couple years ago and witnessed a homeless guy trying to smoke a blunt with his a-hole. That's an image I will never forget lol.

Drove through Grambling once. I would probably off myself if I had to live in that area of the state.

Ruston is a couple of miles away and is in the top two or three in the state in every socioeconomic category you can think of.

I like Tuskegee. some of those shops downtown have some very nice interesting people. Selma is bad but it's half decent. has some nice antebellum homes.

Flint Michigan. Talk about a shithole. Even the water sucks. Yet 60 miles north is the best tap water I have ever drank.

As a person who may or not be really out here like that, consider this list my humble opinion. I've been to all three (3).

Philly
Baltimore City
Trenton

Edit: Y'all good folks that ain't been up North ain't seen nothin yet, very respectfully...

Edit2: I did not list Chiraq bc I've never been and frankly I refuse to as it is a personal health hazard these days...

Edit3: I'm from DFW which might be more populous as an MSA than all three of those cities proper combined...but we probably have a fraction of the crime rate per capita...

God Bless Texas

Selma and Uniontown are about as bad as it gets in Alabama. The poisoned racial atmosphere is what makes Selma really bad.

Columbus GA back in 2000. That said, I visited recently and they’ve really upped their game. (I’m an old army guy lol). If you want me to include overseas, then just pick a random town in Afghanistan lol

I didn't get warm, fuzzie vibes from the locals when I stopped by to see The Jackson Family home in 2016.

God bless you if you’re an 18-wheeler making a stop there.
